Japanese Style Jewellery/Memento Box. Totally Unique
A totally unique box covered with symmetrical squares of brightly coloured papers, these hand crafted papers were from a collection of papers brought back from Japan many years ago
(We sold one recently that was a little smaller and a different colour way inside)
This lovely decoupage box has an antique brass handle on the top and two side brass clips to keep it securely closed.
The box has decorative hinges o the back
Lined with dark navy blue high quality cotton and hand water coloured complementary red paper inside.
Removable tray with storage underneath. Depth of tray is 2.5cm and the storage below is 7cm
The base of the tray has fine blue cotton leather as does the base of the box.
Size of box is 30cm x 20cm x 13.5cm (H)
The box has a dark wood veneer surround.
Both the outside papers and inside papers have a fine protective coating
