Immaculate small campaign box, probably South American rosewood ,it has an unusual grain on the top
All the brass banding is original
Original brass cartouche on the top
We think the escutcheon has been replaced over time, the lock is the original but sadly no key
Original solid brass hinges
Now restored for modern day use for collections, jewellery, cufflinks, or as beautiful desk furniture
Lined with deep red velvet and printed marbled paper to suit the era of the box
Original removable wooden tray approximately 2.5cm deep
Storage below 3.5cm
Size of box is 25cm x 17cm x 12cm
The base has blue felt/baize
