Large Domed Tunbridge Ware Style Restored Jewellery Box (Circa 1900-1910)

Lovely large domed Tunbridge Ware style box, a good size and plenty of storage.
Original cartouche on the top with detailed surround.
The banding (known we think as Berlin banding) has retained its colours that adds to its richness and the workmanship to achieve the domed box is remarkable. (There are some repairs please see note below)
Original escutcheon again with the detail surrounding it.
The hinges are brass but not the original
The original lock but no key.
Lined with black satin and traditional printed marbled paper
Size of box is 27.5cm x 19.5cm x 12cm (H)
Removable tray lined with the printed marbled paper 2.5cm deep and storage below is 4cm
French polish finish and the base has green felt/baize
NB This box is lovely however it has had to have quite a bit of repair at the back on the banding so please look closely. Had this box been in perfect condition the price would be at least £160.00
The box was in a bit of a state when it came to us however I always say every box is worth saving!
