Beautiful Victorian walnut writing slope with all mainly original brass banding.

Brass cartouche on the top is original and could be engraved (we do not offer that facility)
The skiver (leather) has been replaced with a new smart antique navy one and the brass tooling design is compatible with its age. (We get them especially made for us)
There is space underneath the skiver on both sides for small documents
The inkwell is the original (and included)
Size -30cm x 22cm x 15cm (h)
When opened out as seen in photograph the length is 45cm
French polish finish and fine cotton leather on the base
Ideal for calligraphers, traditional writing for those rare people that write letters!
It can be used as desk/office furniture and some people rest their i-pads on them
Ideal present for male or female, we have even sold them as christening presents
NB One section of the brass banding has been replaced, however it is not noticeable
