Restored rosewood antique box, originally a glove box now ideal for necklaces, pencils and maybe crochet hooks etc.
Original brass stop hinges (the lid stays up1)
Original mother of pearl cartouche on the top
There is the original lock but alas no key
Lined with fine red cotton velvet in the lid and the inside base is lined with the same and complementary printed traditional marbled paper
The inside depth is just over 3cm and the inside length is just over 21cm
French polish finish
The base of the box has blue felt/baize
Size of box is 24cm x 8.5cm x 7.5cm (H)
